Charles March marks his return to photography with Nature Translated, an exhibition curated by Edward Lucie-Smith at the Bermondsey Project Space in London. This iArtBook catalogues the Exhibition and can be downloaded from Dropbox by clicking the link above.
Charles March started taking photographs seriously at the age of twelve. As an adult he moved into the world of still life/special effects photography and worked for fifteen years on all the best campaigns for the very best agencies and creative directors in the world.
Nature Translated, is about as far as you can get from the highly formal and precise world of the high production still life advertising photography of the 1990s. This new series is very personal and represents trees and places he has been around since childhood and symbolise an important part of his personal and wider history.
